Series: This is the Ducks’ first trip to New Britain since a three-game series from April 25-27. The Bees trail the Ducks in the season series so far 8-5, with Long Island taking the most recent series two out of three in late July. Promotions: Today is a $20K Match Game Monday. New Britain is 14-23 in the second half and 50-57 overall entering play tonight. The Opposition: Long Island, which clinched a playoff spot by winning the first half in the Liberty Division, currently holds the top spot in the division in the second half with a 19-16 record. Most recently, the Ducks dropped two of three at home to the Lancaster Barnstormers.
Starters Key to the Game: Sattling In- In two starts since joining the Bees as a free agent on August 2, Sattler has allowed just two earned runs in each of those starts, including going 5.2 innings in his most recent start against York. The right-hander has, however, walked eight in his two starts, so the Bees will look for the Purdue University product to further improve on his control and efficiency in his third start.
