(New Britain, Conn., Apr. 11, 2018) – The New Britain Bees today announced dates and starting times for their 2018 Spring Training schedule. The Bees will hold Spring Training at New Britain Stadium for the 2018 season.
“Spring is finally here and that means the official start to the 2018 season at New Britain Stadium,” says Bees General Manager Brad Smith. “These spring training games we have scheduled will give all our fans a preview of what to expect this season.”
The Bees Spring Training schedule will include six exhibition games, with two contests against the cross-sound Atlantic League rival Long Island Ducks, two versus the Road Warriors, one against the CT Twilight League, and another against the Milford Hunters. Five of those games will be held at New Britain Stadium.
Any Bees fan who would like to get a sneak peek of their hometown team before the regular season begins is welcome to attend. General admission tickets will be complimentary for any home Spring Training games. Food and beverage will be available for purchase at New Britain Stadium during each game. No outside food or beverage will be allowed inside the ballpark.

4/20 – vs. Long Island (1:00pm)
4/21 – @ Long Island
4/22 – vs. CT Twilight League (1:00pm) – Fan Fest Day
4/23 – vs. Milford Hunters (1:00pm)
4/24 – vs. Road Warriors (12:00pm)
4/25 – vs. Road Warriors (1:00pm)
The New Britain Elks Lodge will also host a special “Meet the Players” Dinner on Tuesday, April 24th. The event starts at 5:00pm with a player meet and greet, followed by a social hour at 6:00pm, then dinner is served at 7:00pm.
