NEW BRITAIN RESIDENTS GET IN FREE ON INDEPENDENCE DAY AS BEES HOST PATRIOTS

FIRST PITCH AT 2:05 PM ON JULY 4TH AT NEW BRITAIN STADIUM

(New Britain, Conn., June 27, 2017) – Celebrate Independence Day at New Britain Stadium with free tickets for all residents of the City of New Britain! The Bees are hosting the Somerset Patriots for the first Fourth of July game in franchise history at a special 2:05 PM start time! Any fan with a valid New Britain ID will get a free ticket to the game, so make sure to get to the ballpark early! After the game, join the City of New Britain for the Great American Boom Fireworks Show at Stanley Quarter Park at 9:15 PM!
 
“This is a great way to celebrate Independence Day – with great independent baseball at New Britain Stadium,” said Bees General Manager Gerry Berthiaume. “We’re thrilled that we can offer New Britain residents free admission as part of the City’s Fourth of July celebration and look forward to welcoming everyone to the ballpark!” 
 
The Bees return to New Britain Stadium on Friday, June 30th to take on the Bridgeport Bluefish in the final series of the Atlantic League’s first half, featuring a chance to win $50,000 and great prizes from Fat Tire on Friday, postgame fireworks and a Stanley Tape Measure giveaway on Saturday, and Schaller Hardware City Family Fun-Day on Sunday!
