BEES LOOK FOR SERIES EDGE IN GAME THREE VS. BLUE CRABS

Series: The Blue Crabs evened up both this series and the season series with a 8-2 win last night. After tonight, the Bees wrap up their home schedule against the Blue Crabs this season with a 1:35PM start time on Sunday.

The Bees: Craig Maddox is hitting .394 (15-38) with three extra-base hits and three RBIs during his current nine-game hitting streak, which is his fifth streak of at least seven games during the 2016 season.

The Opposition: Third baseman Bryant Nelson- who is just three hits away from tying the all-time Atlantic League hit record- has picked up at least one hit in 13 of his past 14 games played. During that stretch, the former 44th round pick of the Houston Astros in 1993 is hitting .357 (20-56) with seven RBIs.

Key to the Game: Sink, Swim, or Roe- The Bees will get to see Nate Roe in a starting role after joining the Bees as a reliever earlier this month. The Rutgers product spent the first 3.5 seasons of his career pitching in the Can-Am League and has starting experience, starting 21 of his 79 games in the league.
