Thanks to what’s been a very successful first half of the season in New Britain, 10 Bees will be representing the club at the 2026 Futures League All-Star Game next week in Nashua. Five pitchers and five position players highlight the most the team has sent to the FCBL’s “Midsummer Classic” since 2022, when they also had 10 participants.

Pitchers

Colby Dimenna      RHP | Western New England

The Western New England right hander has been a staple in the deep starting rotation for the Bees this summer. In five appearances (four starts), Dimenna has a 2.33 ERA and has two outings of at least 5 IP and 0 ER (May 30 at Vermont & June 15 vs. Lowell).

Garret Garbinski      RHP | UConn

The Husky right hander is going to his second straight FCBL All-Star Game after starting the contest last season. This summer, Garbinski has arguably been better than his dominant 2025 campaign. In six starts so far, he has a microscopic 0.75 ERA in 36 IP.

Thomas Harding      LHP | St. John’s

The Johnnie left hander was a mid-summer addition for the Bees after St. John’s run to the Super Regionals. Harding only has 11.1IP for New Britain, but has a team best 23 strikeouts including a nine K performance on July 3 against Westfield.

Trey LaMay      RHP | Stonehill

The incoming Stonehill righty is coming off of his best night on the mound of the summer, tossing 7 innings against Worcester allowing just an unearned run while striking out five. He was named the Futures League Pitcher of the Week for his efforts.

Robby Wunsch      RHP | UMass Boston

The UMass Boston right hander has been a very reliable option for the Bee rotation. Wunsch has completed at least four innings in all of his six starts and has a 2.93 ERA on the summer. His best outing came against Norwich on May 30 when he went five scoreless.

Position Players

Ben Kuja      UTIL | Brandeis

The Brandeis Judge has been a pleasant surprise for the New Britain offense, playing all over the diamond and being one of the more consistent bats in the lineup. Kuja has eight multi-hit games and one home run so far this summer.

Myles Gythfeldt      UTIL | Lafayette

The newest Lafayette Leopard makes his first FCBL All-Star team in his second summer with New Britain. Despite not playing since June 28, Gythfeldt is still top five on the Bees in hits and boasts a .370 average while playing both infield and outfield.

Tim Hennig      IF | Binghamton

A mid-summer addition after going to the NCAA Tournament with Binghamton, Hennig also has his first FCBL All-Star nod in his second summer with the Bees. In just 16 games played he has 24 hits, headlined by a 4-hit day on July 9 at Lowell.

Kacin Robinson      OF | Stonehill

The Skyhawk outfielder has had some memorable moments that have led to an All-Star appearance in his first year with the Bees, second in the league. Robinson has the lone walk-off hit for New Britain this summer and is third on the team in hits.

George Slauson      IF | UConn

The incoming Husky slugger was a fan favorite during the New Britain playoff run last summer and is back as one of the best players in the league in year two. Slauson has 24 RBIs and 30 hits, both ranking Top 10 in the league. He’s also drawn a team high 27 walks.

Slauson will also be the Bees’ representative in the Home Run Derby at 4:30 pm on Tuesday. The game itself will follow shortly after at 6:03 pm and can be streamed on the Futures League Network.
