Series: The Bees and Patriots square off for the final time of the 2017 season tonight as they wrap up their 3 game set. The Bees took game one of the series behind Michael Crouse’s 2 home runs and the arm of Kyle Simon. Simon threw his 6th complete game of the season as the Bees defated the Patriots by a score of 5-1. The Patriots evened the series last night as they defeated the Bees 7-5. Kyle Roller of the Patriots, went 2-5 driving in 2 runs in the win.
The Bees: The Bees will send Greg Nappo to the mound tonight as they look to clinch the series with a win tonight. James Skelton walked 3 times in last night’s contest, putting him 3 walks away from tying the all-time Atlantic League season record. Conor Bierfeldt blasted his 22nd home of the season last night, setting a new career high, while Yusuke Kajimoto belted his 3rd home run of 2017.
