Series: The final series between the Bees and Patriots will include 4 games over a 3 day span. The two teams will follow tonight’s series opener with a doubleheader on Wednesday and conclude their series on Thursday at 6:35 P.M. The Patriots currently hold an 11-5 series lead over the Bees.
The Bees: The Bees played their final home game of the 2017 season on Sunday as they faced the Sugar Land Skeeters. The Bees scored three runs in Sunday’s game against Sugar Land, with all three runs coming in sequential order in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th innings. Jovan Rosa had 2 hits in Sunday’s game for his team leading 45th multi-hit game of the season
The Opposition: Somerset is coming off their series against the York Revolution in which the Revolution were able to take 2 of 3 games from the Patriots. The Revolution put up 8 runs in both of their victories over the Patriots. Somerset comes into the series having won 4 out of their last 10 games. This series against the Bees will wrap up a 6 game homestand for the Patriots and will be the last series they host in the 2017 season.
