The Game Changed When… Kyle Roller hit his first home run of the contest in the bottom of the 6th inning. Mark Minicozzi hit a single to begin the frame, and then Roller would send the second pitch he saw over the wall to extend the Patriots lead to 3-0 at the time. The first home run would be the game winning hit as New Britain scored 1 run of their own in the following half inning, and the 5-1 final would eventually be reached.
