Sugar Land took home victories in the first 3 games of the series with scores of 7-5, 3-2, and 6-1, respectively, with game 2 needing 10 innings to decide the winner. Two games remain in the series, with today’s matchup getting underway at 12:05 P.M., and concluding tomorrow evening with an 8:05 P.M. first pitch. New Britain got their lone run off of an RBI single by Jake McGuiggan. Jovan Rosa notched his team leading 6th double of the season in the game. The Opposition: Starter Brett Marshall gave the New Britain bats some trouble throughout most of the game, only allowing 1 run off of 4 hits and 3 walks, striking out 6 batters. The Bees had the initial lead after McGuiggan’s RBI single in the 2nd, but they took it right back in the 4th starting with Anthony Giansanti’s RBI single after Kyle Simon came out of the bullpen in relief.
