The Bees: New Britain enters this series as one of the hottest teams in the league. The Bees are coming off a four-game sweep of the Ducks at home and have won seven of the past eight games to re-enter the playoff picture in the Liberty Division.
The Opposition: The Blue Crabs have struggled through the 2016 season and own a 42-68 record (16-24 in the second half). The Crabs dropped their most recent series to the Bridgeport Bluefish three games to one at home.
Key to the Game: Just Keep Winning- Having won seven of the last eight games, the Bees have moved to just 4.5 games in back of the Liberty Division-leading Bridgeport Bluefish. With just 29 games left in the season, every game carries extra importance for New Britain as the team looks to become the first expansion team in league history to qualify for the playoffs in its first year of play.
