BEES TRAVEL TO YORK TO TAKE ON REVOLUTION

In 140 Characters or Less: The Bees play their third straight series against a Pennsylvania team as they take on the Revolution on the road! 6:30PM first pitch!

Series: New Britain and York faced off last week in a three-game series at New Britain Stadium, with the Revolution winning two of the three games. This four game series is the final series of the season between the two teams.

The Bees: The Bees hit the road after completing a ten-game homestand, with the Bees going 4-6 in those ten games against Southern Maryland, York, and Lancaster. Overall, the Bees enter this series with a 47-53 record (11-19 in the second half). 

The Opposition: The Revolution return to PeoplesBank Park after a road trip in which they went 5-1, with the lone loss coming to the Bees at New Britain Stadium. The winners of the Freedom Division in the first half, the Revolution are 57-42 overall.

Key to the Game: Power trip- The Bees enter tonight’s series opener having hit the most home runs of any team in the league so far this month with eight. This will be the Bees’ first road trip this month, so the the team will see if it can match the power it displayed at home at PeoplesBank Park in York.
