BEES TRY TO SALVAGE SERIES FINALE VS. REVOLUTION

The Bees: Michael Crouse enters this afternoon’s game hitting .363 in 32 games at New Britain Stadium this season, and he also has been one of the Bees’ best hitters with runners in scoring position (.342 with two home runs and 29 RBIs).

The Opposition: Outfielder Jared Mitchell, a former 23rd overall pick of the Chicago White Sox in 2009, has been providing plenty of pop to the Revolution lineup of late, hitting four home runs and driving in eight while hitting .344 over his last ten games.

Key to the Game: Feels Like The First Time- Daniel Sattler, a right-hander who the Bees signed on August 2, will make the very first start of his ten-year professional career this afternoon. The Bees will see how the former 44th round pick of the Texas Rangers in 2006 handles a starting role as they look to fill out their rotation after Shawn Haviland was purchased by the Cleveland Indians.
