BEES AIM FOR THIRD STRAIGHT WIN TONIGHT VS. BLUEFISH

Series: The Bees won their second straight game last night by another 5-2 score. After tonight’s game, the two teams finish up their series tomorrow afternoon at 1:35PM.

The Bees: Since June 24, Craig Maddox has reached base in every single game for the Bees, a span of 16 games. In those 16 games, the left-handed hitter from Georgia is batting .276 (16-58) with five runs scored, five RBIs, and six walks. 

The Opposition: The former big league reliever for the Nationals, Yankees and Diamondbacks has made one start this season against New Britain, That outing came back on April 29 in Bridgeport in which he worked five innings and allowed just one run on one hit with five strikeouts in Bridgeport’s 3-1 win.

Key to the Game: Dupra vs. Albaladejo, Part II- Tonight’s starting pitchers have squared off once previously this season, with Albaladejo and the Bluefish getting the best of Dupra and the Bees 3-1 on April 29 in Bridgeport. Both pitchers got a no-decision despite both allowing just one run each in five innings of work. Whoever can replicate their success they had on April 29 is most likely to help their team to a win in New Britain tonight.
