(New Britain, Conn., November 28, 2016) – The New Britain Bees today announced that group ticket packages for the 2017 season will go on sale beginning Monday, December 5th at 10:00 a.m. Fans wishing to book group outings are encouraged to call (860) 826-BEES (2337) at that time to ensure availability for their desired date(s).

 

“We have group outings that fit every organization, and we’re incredibly excited to launch group sales on December 5th,” said Bees General Manager Patrick Day. “Whether celebrating an event with friends and family or hosting a large company outing, our group outings at New Britain Stadium prove it’s better with the Bees!” 

 

The Bees are hosting several promotions dedicated to groups during the 2017 season, including three Baseball in Education days, two Boy Scout Campouts, and two Camp Day games. The Baseball in Education days will all have special 10:35 am start times, while the Camp Day games will start at 12:05 pm. The dates for these events are listed below:

* Baseball in Education Days: April 26 vs. Lancaster, May 3 vs. Somerset, May 16 (single admission doubleheader) vs. Bridgeport

* Boy Scout Campouts: May 13 vs. Long Island, August 19 vs. Bridgeport

* Camp Day games: July 25 vs. Lancaster, August 8 vs. Sugar Land

 

Several exciting group ticket packages are available for 2017, including all-you-can-eat pre-game picnics, luxury suite rentals, party deck outings and much more. In addition, groups have the opportunity to participate in exclusive activities at New Britain Stadium such as performing the National Anthem or God Bless America, serving as a Color Guard, standing alongside players as the Dream Team or shagging fly balls during Bees batting practice, just to name a few. These unique activities will be reserved quickly for all 70 home games, so be sure to call early and reserve your outing.
