The Bees: In three games (two starts) against Bridgeport this season, left-hander Jarret Leverett has allowed just four earned runs in 16.2 innings, good for a 2.16 ERA. In his last start against the Bluefish, the native of Georgia allowed just one run in seven innings on July 23.

The Opposition: During his five-game hitting streak, catcher Jose Gil is batting .474 (9-19) with three doubles, four RBIs, and two runs scored, and is hitting .292 (7-24) in seven games against the Bees.
