Series: The Bees took the first game of their series with the Blue Crabs with an 11-3 win. So far, New Britain holds a 6-5 lead in the season series.

Promotions: Today is Foul Pole Friday! If a designated Bees player hits a home run off of one of the foul poles during a Friday home game, one lucky fan will win $50,000! Tonight is also our 4th Pyrotechnics Show of the season as well as First Responders night where we will celebrate first responders from Central Connecticut throughout the night. The Bees: After his two home run, six RBI performance in last night’s game, Jon Griffin is now hitting .321 (9-28) with three home runs, nine RBIs and ten runs scored in nine games against the Blue Crabs this season.
The Opposition: Over his last five games, first baseman Michael Snyder is hitting .500 (10-20) with a home run, five RBIs, and three runs scored, including collecting RBIs in each of his last three games.

Key to the Game: Build momentum- During their most recent road trip, the Bees averaged just 3.5 runs per game in their six-game trip that brought them to Bridgeport and Long Island. However, the Bees scored 11 runs in their return home to New Britain last night. The Bees’ offense will hope to build on that momentum.
