Series: The Bees evened the series at a game apiece with a 7-4 in extra innings last night. The two teams will have just one more series left to play this season (August 23-25 in New Britain) after the completion of today’s game.

The Bees: James McOwen is off to a very solid start in his Bees’ career. The former sixth round draft pick of the 2007 MLB Draft is 4-6 over his first two games with the Bees, with one of those hits being a two-run single in the fourth inning of last night’s Bees win.
The Opposition: Welington Dotel has enjoyed an extremely hot start to this series against the Bees. In the first two games, Dotel is 3-9 with a triple, grand slam, and five RBIs. He’s also scored twice and walked twice.
