Born and raised in Irwin, Pennsylvania, Cody is a 2015 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania, earning a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies, focusing in radio and television. Cody got his start in the sports industry during his undergraduate study with the school’s television station, California University Television (CUTV) working in field production for football, basketball, soccer, and baseball game broadcasts. Since, he has worked as a production assistant with the Altoona Curve baseball team, a freelance camera operator for high school football broadcasts, and a producer at a news talk radio station. Cody has also been a cellist for 16 years, and is an avid chess player.
